Colombine Spray is an external-use insecticide developed for maintaining hygiene in racing pigeon lofts, cages and transport baskets. It is designed to help control common external parasites such as lice, fleas, ticks and red mites that may be found in pigeon housing and surrounding environments. The spray is intended for use in the loft or cage environment and should be applied strictly according to the product instructions.

Colombine Spray is particularly suitable for racing pigeon environments where maintaining a clean and hygienic loft is important. It can be used in pigeon cages, lofts and transport baskets to help control unwanted insect and mite infestations. The product can also be used proactively in the nest environment before an egg-laying period, following the manufacturer's application instructions.

The spray is formulated to help destroy and repel:

• Fleas
• Ticks
• Red mites
• Other mite species affecting the pigeon housing environment

Active Ingredients

The formulation contains:

• Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium extract from open and mature flowers of Tanacetum cinerariifolium obtained with supercritical CO₂ – 1.53 g/L (CAS No. 89997-63-7)
• Piperonyl butoxide – 12.72 g/L (CAS No. 51-03-6)

The product is classified as a Biocide Insecticide TP18.

How to Use

Before application, remove all pigeons from the cage or treatment area. Remove all feed, drinking water and bathing water from the area.

Cover the cage or treatment area with a suitable cloth as instructed. Spray the product underneath the cloth for several seconds. The manufacturer's example recommends approximately 3 seconds for a 15-litre volume.

After spraying, leave the treated area closed for approximately 3 to 4 minutes. Then uncover and ventilate the area thoroughly for approximately 1 hour before returning the pigeons.

If necessary, the treatment may be repeated after 10 days, following the product instructions.

Important Application Precautions

Pigeons must be removed from the treatment area before spraying. Feed, drinking water and bathing water should also be removed. Do not spray directly onto pigeons. Allow the required treatment time and provide thorough ventilation before allowing pigeons back into the treated area.

Always follow the manufacturer's label instructions and recommended application conditions.

The product is very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Avoid release into the environment.

The product may produce an allergic reaction and may cause serious eye irritation. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.

Use the product only as directed and observe all safety precautions stated on the product label.

Storage and Handling

Store and handle the aerosol container carefully. Keep away from ignition sources and excessive heat. Protect from direct sunlight and temperatures above 50°C / 122°F. Do not puncture, crush or burn the container, even when empty. Keep securely away from children and animals when not in use.

Colombine Spray is specifically presented for use in racing pigeon lofts, cages and related pigeon housing environments. It can be useful as part of a regular loft hygiene routine when external parasites such as lice, fleas, ticks and red mites are a concern.

For the safety of pigeons, always remove the birds before treatment and ensure adequate ventilation before returning them to the treated area.
